Work on Shell 410

Work has continued, I’ve actually worn a path into the grass from my constant walking to and from my workshop.
The tree that I’ve planted is growing surprisingly well, I was slightly surprised when it grew steadily, but without leaves. Perhaps that soil from Gira had some unexpected side effects.

An unfortunate problem that arose from the cold weather, my workshop door frequently freezes shut. For now, I’m just going to have to remember to bring that portable heater with me. Hopefully the weather warms up soon, I’m worried that the ice in the canals might damage the linings and crack the sidewalks.

Elections and Resolutions

Happy New Years everyone, hopefully it was good. I spent it on the surface with family and friends, and I’m just packing up now to return to the Cavern and to Ahra Pahts.

I’ve been elected Councilor of Public Relations for the Guild of Writers, along with the four other councilors. We’ll be officially announcing everything at the All Guilds Meeting in Kirel on Saturday, but I’d like to have some stuff ready before then to pass around. I’d like to say immediately, if you have a concern or question about the Guild or the council, do not hesitate to PM me on the forums, send me a message via the KI, yell at me in CyanChat, leave a comment here, or post on the forums. I want to make this work as smoothly as possible, and that isn’t going to happen if people don’t have a voice.

Ahra Pahts should be opened for preliminary access to the Guild of Maintainers sometime soon, I’m planning to allow them into the exterior of my shell, but I’m locking the workroom door. Forgive me for not trusting people when I have half-written Ages sitting on my desk.

Hopefully I’ll see some people at the All Guilds Meeting, and otherwise, happy exploring in 2008! :)
